Phoenix, Ariz. - In his first desert exhibition, glass artist Dale Chihuly mixes his vibrant works with the foliage at the arid Desert Botanical Garden. Glass pieces of every shape and hue have been scattered throughout the Garden, mixing man-made and nature along the Arizona landscape. Chihuly encourages guests to bring their cameras along to document the visit for both educational and non-commercial purposes. Reservations are required for the exhibition that runs through May.
While at the Garden, be sure the stop by the Sybil B. Harrington Cactus and Succulent Galleries - featuring a wide array of desert plants all beneath a picturesque arching canopy. - Hilary Solan
